I would prefer firstorm over C&C3 anyway because in my opinion, it has a more in-depth environment of what a tiberium infested area would be like. You know with the ocasional Ion Storms and the tiberium lifeforms. The tiberium infested landscape with the infected plants and the crystal cliffs. Compared to cnc3, its just blue, yellow, and red zones. Even though C&C 3 has better graphics, TS and Firestorm have the best in-depth tiberium environments that you could get out of the whole series from the first to the fourth.

don't get me wrong. TIBSUN has awesome story and depth. I just prefer the gameplay in cnc3. that hunter seeker annoyed me alot. the graphics mean nothing to me, its more about gameplay.
tibsun has an awesome story and CABAL is a great faction. the tiberium and the new missiles were fun too. tib sun has alot of benefits over cnc3 or any other cnc for that matter. i just don't play it that often.

The hunter-seeker was something Westwood did not finish due to their deadline I suppose. It was intended to function differently.

Tiberian Sun + Firestorm does have the greatest feel to it of all C&C tiberium games. Thanks to not only unit, structure and environment design but music and sound as well.

Yeah that Hunter Seeker was probobly the most annoying aspect of the game. It always seems that within the first 5 times the AI launches it it always hits your construction yard. It should have only been able to take out units.

To me, Tiberian Sun showed the player the real effects of Tiberium on wildlife and landscapes, in it's day, it was one of the best strategy games of it's genre, I was already used to the Tiberium harvesting from the first game, I only recently got the chance to buy it on a very rare whim in a games store, the only things that let it down was:

    1) My first ever try on it was horrendous, I found the difficulty of the game to increase by 10 on every level of the Campaigns.
2)Because I was good at online multiplayer on Generals, I thought I would try the Skirmish first, @_@....the AI wooped me.

I guess it was because I wasn't used to the way the game worked, I did play on the first game when I was a lot younger and the pace of that game was fast for it's day, but this one was different, the AI is far more Agressive than I was used to but it makes for a more challenging game, plus spamming Tick Tanks and deploying them was just fun as all hell!

Tiberian Sun was a GREAT single-player experience. (IMHO) I hope that VG took a good look at the way Tiberian Sun told it's story / had an actual convincing Tiberium-ized earth.

I shall await the return of Tiberium in the name of Kane! KANE LIVES IN DEATH!

Favourite C&C: Tiberian Sun; Reason: Atmosphere, what more needs to be said?

Is it weird if I say that even if Red Alert 3 is my favourite game ever, Tiberian Sun is my favourite Command & Conquer ever? Something about making impenetrable bases and defending them until I built a gigantic army always left me so satisfied. I never played it particularly "well", but it was a huge part of my life growing up.

I recently went back to it and actually started playing a few levels over again. I totally remember why I loved the game so much as a kid. The game is just so damn rich in atmosphere.
Actually, just call me "Stammer6". This site is just silly and won't let me use that username.

Not gonna beat around the bush: I love Red Alert 3. I know there's a lot of you out there that don't like it. That's cool. But yeah, that's probably why my post above is about 99% likely to involve the game in at least one way, shape, or form.
