RA2/ YR NPC colors made playable?

I've been on this quest for a while. Is there any way for me to add or switch out the NPC colors in campaign (Like brown, lavender, black, ect.) and make them usable in Skirmish without disrupting the colors used by the teams in the campaign? (Like being a color other than red as the soviets in campaign) I don't mind if I lose the ability to use colors like pink or yellow in the process. I just want to be the brown guys for once or pretend to be the Black Guard!

NPSE and the upcoming Ares DLL 0.2 allow you to add more colors in skirmish.

I always thought that it would be more interesting to be able to choose some of the colors that don't appear naturally in the game. Like playing as white, black, or brown.

How about existing mini-mods that have already done that? I don't want to have to download a web of addons just to change the colors.

With Ares like Speeder said once a line of code is added to UDMD.ini it will display all of the unused MP colours like the campaign ones. AFAIK!

If you want to do that without an extension, you can only replace the existing 8 colors selectable in skirmish with different ones. No minimod has done that. Minimods which would replace a color or a skin for RA2/YR don't really exist. I've posted a list of mods and minimods here
