    I'm not sure. It seems every time enter a game staying for a while. I've deleted the patch. :\

    That FYI sounds like people without the patch are trying to play him.

    Guys you need people playing on the patch, otherwise the game will just Desync and kick you. This is not CGF's fault but your own.

    guy's you don't need to remove the latest patch if you want to run the game's previous version.

    Just add "-runver X" to game launch options.(X is the version you want to run. Example for kane's wrath : "-runver 1.2" parameter runs the game with 1.02 patch. )

    Is this mod actually more balanced than 1.02? And, I used a trial of WinRar to install it, so when the trial runs out will I still be able to play the mod and switch between it and 1.02?

    as long as you have the 1.02/1.03 switches safely in your kw folder it should all work fine.
    and afaik winrar doesnt stop working once the trial runs out (atleast ive been using it for years without registering or anything).

    also, personal view from the mod creator himself () - i believe it does a couple of things better than 1.02 (especially some bugfixes, unit response issues, improvements to underused units/factions etc), and offers others in a different manner, but arguably there are a few issues as well that me and others testing the patch try and sort out with new updates

    overall though you need to be well versed with 1.02 online gameplay to truly understand and appreciate some of the changes and fixes

    personally i pretty much play this in tandem with 1.02 for which i still very much enjoy following and watching replays.

    balance is no cake walk, particularly for kw - definitely needs a ton of matches and testing to be sure since there are simply so many possibilities to account for; but the objective of this mod/patch still stands, which is to try and refine and balance kw gameplay as much as possible.

    is it worth playing ? is there more ppl playing on this patch ?

    no, if youre looking for players you should just go on regular kw at the right times... there are peak times of the day where youll find enough players (~ths time) and other times where the lobbies are literally empty (~10 hrs from now)

    The patch is a pain and any one using nod will desync an map 20 seconds into the game online we have tested this now this is with only EA servers if you play some on a independent server both have to have the patch i have noticed online every one takes the patch off

    it doesnt desync... dont know what you are talking about here
    ive tested countless games on the patch and ive had almost no such consistent desyncs

    but yes, its not popular online
