it's not a nod, and you are all delusional and this isn't even my words, 100 % on the old forums SAID IT'S THE GENERALS humvee, you guys just now gang up on the obvious. EA had no connection to TD, they just added husks from Generals for the heck of it. I'm sure one of you also said it back then but now just jump on the bandwagon. The C&C3 husk has no similarities whatsoever to the TD humvee which looks nothing like it.

Try finding any similarities to this unit:

    Looks nothing like this.

It doesn't resemble the TD Humvee any less than it does resemble the Gens Humvee. As the textures and models shown clearly demonstrate, it is based on the Gens Humvee but not the same. I really don't know how you think it doesn't look like the TW Humvee when both obviously are Humvees... it's kind of a unique design. They even made the model slightly elongated like the TD depiction; it's simply an extremely undetailed model, as appropriate for TW's LOD.

Keep in mind that the humvee wreck could have been sitting there for decades. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't look exactly like it did in it's prime 50 years ago, back in the First Tib War. Besides, other countries actually had their own armies back around the time of Tiberian Dawn. GDI may not have been the only ones to use the humvee. It could have been another country, with GDI itself using a modifed version.

And no Tiberium infestation...I think not.
It would be in the best interests of GDI or Nod post battles to clear possible sources of Tiberium infestation from areas of interest. So I would propose less wrecks, or wrecks with Tiberium on them...to show progression of age. Maybe even a vehicle wreck inside of a massive Tiberium Crystal? Now there is an idea.

It would be cool to see some sort of easter egg from the past games. Like an old structure or unit that could potentially be used in battle.

You think that is bad? Have you seen the crazy Pitbull wrecks? They are not even the same vehicle that we play with in game! They have machine guns on the back not, missiles or mortars! Very sloppy environmental development, or in some cases just use pre-rendered materials to fill the gaps.

its possible those wrecks were of a pitbull 'predecessor' or variant with a machinegun... nothing really sloppy here
