    LOL.

No, there's no particle cannon, aurora bombers, or laser tanks.

F-22A Raptors exist, Tomahawks are completely different from the ingame versions, and the microwave weapons in testing have no tank version, nor do they burn people alive in a big field around the vehicle. XD .

What's really funny is the one thing you say you're waiting for them to invent, the combat robots, are what's actually already in service, in the form of the Talon drones (Which are likely the inspiration for the sentry drones.) , and a plethora of UAVs, the most famous of which is the Predator.

Check my edited post, I added further stuff about Particle Cannon. Did you saw the old official generals website back then? I remember them mentioning there on how most of the US stuff are real.

I think I ran across on that "Talon drone" when google suggested it while I'm searching around.

Nowhere in either of your links is even the word "Moon" mentioned. What you've linked to a project for one approach scientists used to try and harness Fusion. It wasn't a laser weapon on the moon, lol.

Anyways, yes, I remember the old Generals site. I don't recall anything there that contradicts what I'm saying now though. The only real things the USA in Generals had was the A-10, F-117, Rangers, Humvees, the F-22A, the Commanche, flashbangs, TOW missiles, Predator drones, rocket pods, snipers, the B-52, and C-130, and bull dozers.

Everything else either simply wasn't real, or merely had a real world analogue, for example, Crusader tank -> Abrams tank. The Tomahawk is a sketchy one, with Tomahawk cruise missiles being real, but never being carried on a land based chassis for use as artillery. Same with Flashbangs. Less-Lethal stun grenades were now lumped together as regular frags.

Haven't even gotten to Zero Hour, and things like the Point Defense Lasers, or the "B3" bomber (Lol.) either.

I did say it's more like an experimental equipment than a weapon. I doubt I can still find that link stating about a laser weapon in the moon. I'd be happy if I did!

Methinks we're on the same boat, I just posted those to show that they do exist. Well, most of em XD

Their functionality otoh are a different story imo. The devs of course made some appropriate tweaks and changes based on their real life counterpart to suit the game. I mean just look at how the Scud Launcher can get inside the Tunnel while the Angry Mobs cannot.

    This.

    @stormgear
maybe you should read some articles about nature of visible light and electromagnetic waves. Or to put simple, you said that microwave oven is the same as some fictional laser oven (which doesn't exist). And where I said that all units and weapons in zero hour are fictional? Or you think that all units and weapons in TD are fictional? I clearly said that some of those weapons doesn't exist in "that" (as they are were pictured in zero hour) form. Yeah, tomahawk missiles exist, everybody knows that, but do you know what is their launch platform? Navy ships (destroyers, etc.) only. I already know for all those projects that you listed in your post, but many of them never passed theoretical, lab or prototype phase, let alone some practical use or mass production.

I remember at least 1 thread a month popping up, where someone would ask, "What Generals weapons are real?" I lead the charge on at least one of those threads, because I was big into observing Chinese military advancements, compared to the US military. Annoyed me to no end to see the PLA portrayed like this:

    When they're really like this:

    Or having vehicles like this:

When the the PLA is really rolling around in these:

    But it's just a game, so w/e.

What I tried to attempt to reply to your post/question is to show the "real life" basis of US factions units.

I'm not really familiar with all those microwave tech stuff, so I have to say I apologize for any misunderstandings on that part.

    Now, if we're going here:
Show me: links, articles, pics, when they used them, where they used them, any "solid" data which would confirm their existence in "that" form. Please, no stories and tales about top secret and black projects.
I clearly said that some of those weapons doesn't exist in "that" (as they are were pictured in zero hour) form.
    You won't find any because:

I should've seen this earlier, I didn't realize what you were "specifically" asking there until now. So I believe that should be the more appropriate reply + Kyangs in your question rather than the links and pictures I posted on the previous page. So I guess it's best that we'd take the route from there.

or the "B3" bomber (Lol.) either.
They do have that B2 Bomber right?

and things like the Point Defense Lasers,
As for this one, they are working out on some anti-missile lasers mounted on a ship. There is a working prototype already, just check out the link I posted on the previous page about lasers.

That's why I laughed. I thought it was funny they decided to bump up the number, without changing anything about it, while leaving things like the A-10 alone. Why not "A-11" strike? Lol.

We each have our reasons for voting for our respective favourites. As I have said, Zero Hour failed to captivate me like Firestorm did.

I'm not an EA hater, but I prefer Firestorm to Zero Hour.
