He has a point though, how can an Addon with mediocre story win over the classic, the initiator?

It makes me really sad to see that younger gamers dont appreciate old games just because of the gaphics

I do appreciate C&C95 and I'm not biased against older graphics. The thing is, I found TD boring after a while

ra1 with its expansions is the much more refined version of td imo... that game never gets boring for me

its not as engrossing as td , ra2 or tiberian sun

Kane's Wrath definitely did not impress me as much as Tiberian Dawn did back in the days. TD.

Storywise, Tiberian Dawn (ie First C&C) was pretty solid. GDI, Nod, tiberium, and that chaos that ensued. The only thing that got me was that, as far as character, Kane was a LOT different. He was more charismatic, and less, "Burn the heretics" back then. However, Tiberian Dawn had a bit of an exploit: You could build any building next to another. Thus, making the sandbag walls would allow you to extend your base anywhere, even into another player's base, and throw Guard Towers/Obelisks. Thankfully, you can't do that anymore. Kane's Wrath did a decent job at filling stuff in between Tiberian Sun and Tiberium Wars, but there were a few things that still just seemed left out. C'mon, right now the Kane charater is will over 80 years old and we still don't know: why he's seemingly ageless, now why he's so much more different now than in the original. But, all that aside, I'd have to go with Kane's Wrath just because of the added content (I love the Wold Domination play) and a decent attempt at the lore.

Because 90% of the people now here or involved in the forums are like 5 yrs old now............and they regard the originals as sub par compared to todays games.......
