    other players view on minimap

    Subject:
    other players view on minimap

    Description:
currently on your minimap you only have your own map view
i think it will be better if other players (your teammates) view will be shown on minimap aswell

    Positive Effect:
you know where your teammates are currently looking at

    Negative Effect:
    none

So what your saying is when you look at your mini-map on CNC3 you would see an upside down trapezium shaped object on the map which was your field of view. You would want to add extra trapeziums (in the corresponding color of your teammate) which showed their view-point.

It would work as long as it didn't obstruct too much of your view on the mini-map. I could see it getting a bit annoying on a 4 vs 4 map for example.

I'd be up for it as an option you could turn on and off, but does it really give you any benefits? I've never felt the need to know what my team-mate is looking at tbh.

What's the use in knowing where your ally is looking at? An unskilled player won't much care while in a skilled match, players will shift their view rapidly making the information kinda meaningless. You ally's actions should count, you can see those on the battlefied.

    My thoughts exactly.

I see no negative effects in this, nor positive.

You can already see what your allies are doing. You see the areas that they have explored.

Explored areas are shared on the minimap anyways. Just seeing where your ally looks at doesn't tell you what he's doing. A proper communication/beacon system, alike to the drawing feature they showed for the TW replay viewer (did they ever implement that?) would be much mroe useful.

Wow! Yes!! That's just what we need.

    Also
-I want to know what units he is building
    -the build order used
-wanna see the amount of money he has
-i wanna know if he has boobs

also, even better, i want the game to require webcam. Because if i lose i want to insult the player accordingly.
    thanks

I honestly cannot see the point in this. What exactly would I as a player get out of this?
