RA2 is definitely one of the most memorable games for many of us here. It was such a good game because of the campaign, units, acting, and missions.

RA2 was in that time not for sale as single CD (or the allied and soviet CD only), so RA2 was the reason for me that I bought a gamepack (not first decade, there was also a other gamepack before that one) with a lot of command and conquer games in it that I otherwhise never had played.

RA2 is awesome, to bad they made RA3 cartoon since it makes the whole RA universe looks like a big joke. Should be cooler if they had taken it more seriously like RA2. (yes, prism, chrone and timetravel does not exist, but that is where the whole RA universe is about, ..."What if, albert einstein succeeded in timetraveling, what if all other failed experiments did work..."

I guess to show that I am a fan of RA2 I have at least 3 separate sets of the disks to play them.
    - Original one from when it was first released.
    - The First Decade
    - RA3 Pre-Order set

RA2 is almost as cartoony as RA3 and both are way more cartoony than RA1.

red alert 2 is the second best c&c-game ever made (the number one c&c-game being yuri's revenge).

Red Alert 2 hands down. Seriously. It was significantly more memorable and IMO just much more colorful, fast paced, and fun.

Who cares if a whole bunch of strats and units were totally IMBA? That's what made the game so fun.

That's because RA1 makes some people classy.

Red Alert 1! My first strategy game ever! It's been over 10 years that I played that game! I'm 21, so yeah I was about 10 when I played that game. I loved playing with the Russians, but Thanya was epic with her one-liners! "Shake it baby!"
