Methuselah when will they eventually get tired and go away? Incia stopped posting in the old forum and will soon do so again where they will just post at other forums like GR. New people who like C&C4 and are reading this section of the forum will not join and post here. To me this forum is just like the old forum but with a different coloured skin.

Only the CNC4 forum hasn't changed any. Everywhere else has. You just have to accept that there will always be a lot of criticism on this game for it involved much change and the storyline was mediocre. That ruined it for a lot of people.

I like C&C4 just like I like other C&C games. I like C&C4 firstly because it is so different without the base building and harvesting, the style of playing is just like a holiday to me for a while, and no doubt the holiday will end and the base building and harvesting will return which I will like. Later when I have more free time I will also criticise just like I did on the old forum. By the way I like your cat's facial expression.

Title says it all. I'm just curious if this game is seriously as bad as the reviews say it is. It's on sale on Steam for only $5 IIRC so I want to make sure I'm not missing out. Thanks!

it would have been a half- decent RTT if EA hadn't have stamped on the C&C title and made ugly C&C units as placeholders for their original designs

Yeah. If they wouldn't have called it CNC, it would be fairly decent.

All it's going to take is a new C&C game, plus a few years, and suddenly people will look back on C&C4 as if it was always a good game that just needed to be recognized for what it was instead of what one wanted.

It makes absolutely no sense, and everyone at the time always denies it'll happen, but it never fails. It happened with TS, it happened with RA2, it somehow happened with Generals, and it's going to happen again.

"If only they didn't put a C&C label on it... If only they didn't change this, if only they didn't change that part of C&C, if only they left this in..." Same complaints every time, and it never fails, lol.

For some people it actually probably will. In my case though no it won't.
