Having a bit of an issue

I bought the game through steam and have tried to register it through the games registration with EA so that I can play online but as soon as I try to type in my EA account information to get the process started it says the servers are down and to try again later. i've been doing this for about a week now and it's getting me no where fast, can anyone help me with this?

there log in with your screenname, click on my games and then register TW and KW
