I liked everything in this game.

It are good factions, much things to do. There are million of tactics and it's nice offline and online.

It's many maps in this game, or at least Zero Hour. That's one good thing compared to new cnc games.

I also like it because it's quite realistic and it's thing from our time, year 2000.

The automatch system is awesome and the custom place as way.

And Generals is really much based on teamwork if you play 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 games.

It's how a RTS game should be! Everything is just perfect in my opinion. I also like the money system.

In "the" new Generals game I would like it to be as the previous Generals game (The Generals/zh that we play now) and it should keep the same way to build stuff.

In retrospect, what I like about Generals is that it's set in its own continuity with no relation to either the Tiberian or RA series, which means I can safely ignore it, unlike, say, "C&C4".

Aww... it's sad that you ignore Generals. Such a great game. But I do like the fact that it was in it's own universe.

I personally think that Generals is no C&C. Command & Conquer is such a wide franchise now, and the three universes (well, mostly Generals) are so different from each other.

But I certainly liked the multiplayer and the gameplay itself. But it just didn't feel like C&C. The core elements wasn't there (FMVs, sidebar basebuilding, etc.). So it's very different. Red Alert 2 VS Generals is like Red Alert 2 vs Supreme Commander or Warcraft.

But... on the other hand, I'd like to see another title in the Generals universe. I just hope they reintroduce full motion videos again and mission intelligence transmissions in the radar area.

But overall, I'm hoping for a Red Alert 4 right now.

I just don't like the Starcraft gameplay style that Gens copies (peon system, bottom bar etc.), and the setting doesn't grab me (Dawn of War 1 also has the SC traits, but it compensates by being set in the WH40k universe.)

Generals wasn't too bad but not something I'd have written home and went crazy about. It sort of stuck with the harvesting rule and added a bag load of other stuff like upgrading your structures (Or am I thinking another game here)
Mind you never got to play much of it but what I did see the first one wasn't too bad.

I really liked Generals, before I wouldn't acknowledge it as a C&C game but I've come to accept it as one, because I realized that it sort of was the same thing with Red Alert (not that people raged over it), that it introduced a new universe, and with it comes new types of gameplay. And it was a great game indeed

Because Generals is different compared to the other universes it don't mean that it shouldn't be called cnc.

It wouldn't be fun if all games is the same.

Generals is something different, because it's a other universe. That's it! And that's just good in my opinion.
