Tiberium Wars has stopped working error message

So I dusted out my Tiberium Wars and tried to install it.I played this game fine a few months ago and desided to have another go at it. It installed just fine,however upon trying to play it just said Tiberium Wars has stopped working bla bla bla. -Generic error message

Ive done all the usual admin access compability mode stuff (Playing on vista) but it just wont run.

The Wierd part is that its big brother Kane's Wrath works flawlessly. Id really like to get this working,anyone have any ideas?

did you reinstall it? got a pic of the error message cos "bla bla bla. -Generic error message" is not helpful at all as each message contains a hint as to the issue.
give more info
