Icesi University - Disconnected Error

Good day,

The Icesi University in Cali, Colombia, bought 30 licences of Command and Conquer Red Alert 3. The game is having a constant error when playing in LAN that appear after 10-20 minutes:

"One or more players has disconnected from the game. The player(s) may return to continue play, however it is possible that the player(s) are attempting to circumvent proper win/loss ladder reporting. If you wish to file a grievance, click on the report cheaters link within the game ladder web page."

In order to solve this situation we test different solutions: Turn off the windows firewall, update every game to the last version, making a exception to the firewall for the game. The computers have Windows XP and in adition the university have Rise of Nations and Age of Empire 3 working without troubles.

The game is used for a class of strategy and the teacher need the game working fine to he can qualify correctly his students. We please ask for a solution for this constant problem.

Usually points to the fact that one (or more) of the computers is having an issue connecting to the LAN network. Or that one (or more) of the Updates has become corrupted during download.

It could also be the specs of the said computers are not upto scratch, or have out of date Graphics and Sound drivers causing the game to crash out.

Ohh, try, Garena or Hamachi, they might work, but you need an internet.

Make sure the game is updated to 1.12.

Theres a class of strategy? they let you play RA3 there? what would be the point?
