Why would I want that? If I really wanted to listen to the developers I would have to pause the game anyway or turn down most sounds, otherwise I would not pay to much attention to some guys talking while I play.

Unlike a HL2 or Portal, you cant just turn every unit invulerable while the commantary runs or just freeze the game when a commantary starts, that would just be annoying in the long run.

I rather have some Developer Diaries that are puplished on the internet and contain background infos, concept arts, old screenshots and so on.

While I like the way Valve does it's developer commentary nodes, I have to agree with many that it simply wont work for a C&C game. However, I do think that there should be little videos in a certain section in the main menu that you can look at any time without quitting the game.

I agreed with other posters, the valve like coments would be difficult to implement in the gameplay of C&C, best solution is for the developers to make videos that you get in another DVD in a collectors edition or that can be viewed via download from their site.

I like this idea. Anything that gives us more insight and interaction with the dev team sounds pretty appealing to me.

I don't see how it could be integrated into the gameplay. I suppose if, during the missions if you accomplished something you might be able to incorporate a little of this otherwise it seems to me it would interfere to much.

How about just putting it like the credits, you can look at it if you want anytime ur not playing an actual game.

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

Yes! This is a must! I don't care whether they make it in game (although it would be very cool) or release diaries on the Interwebz but the idea is too epic to leave it out. But I most certainly don't want it exclusively on YouTube as I have a limited download limit and thus it would be very inconvenient for me. I don't mind trailers and like they did in RA3 but a this would preferably take a few hours and that's simply too much :/

I would rather see something like developer commentary on a bonus disk or just on youtube.
