But I'll bet that she was one when they developed cc3, then when they Developed KW they were thinking of a way to make a plot twist of sorts and build the character of Alexa, as well as make yet anther betrayal.

There are several purposes that story point served.

Romanov calls him traitor Yuri, so does Vladmir. A traitor is someone who betrays they're comrades.

It’s often said that “if he passes 20 without experiencing a woman a man will become a magician."

Yes. Something to refer to for help is this: It's The Brotherhood of Nod, as in the Land of Nod from the bible. Just remember: Brotherhood of Nod, Brotherhood of Nod, the Brotherhood, anything. Just not NOD.

And all of them got shoot, nuked, cryo-mind-imprisoned, not really profitable.

Yes indeed, despite Megatron's behavior, he seems more of a dynamic character then Kane.
And actually the game anove actually seems to follow similar story points as C&C, with Energon and dark energon being like tiberium. And in the end of the campaign the auto bots evacuate their planet.

In Fact that could parallel this tiberium in the stars Eddy keeps prataling on about, maybe it's Energon.......
Funny thing about Dark Energon, Optimus warned the autobots not to touch it bcs it damage them, hmm, ther should be an epic unit or crawler commanded by Kane, a High Redeemer, or a Nod Messiah Crawler.

Anyway, betrayal would actually work in there was no absolute victory for any side, also, in-faction struggle may justify things, just like with SC, no faction is completly unified, even the zergs have rogue broods.

I can see betrayal happening in the Brotherhood but in some of the other factions I just couldn't see. Although in the RA universe I could see a betrayal happening only if Yuri was controlling that person. Either a commander or political figure who is under his control.

What if they give the player the choice of joining the traitors or not?

THERE'S A 99% CHANCE THAT NO ONE HAS READ THIS.

That may be interesting, or just in a particular side mission allow you to choose to optional quests, like what they did in SC2, I chosed Ariel and Tosh, and I think those were nice choices bcs I saved a lot of people.

Nod should continue to have factional infighting, but I hate, I HATE it when GDI or the Allies do.

Enough team kills already! Let's go kill some commies, not our own side!
