Right, i may be able to provide some footage, or mod footage if you need it, but the editing is all down to you and it wont have any commentary. You tell me which games and which mods you want and i will be more than happy to give it to you. Also any idea on what you want to show? But the cost of such videos will be a link you TheHubGames youtube channel, that is it (some type of recognition in the credits). Maybe a shout out too. ;P

SGJist and NSG, since you are already talking about this over here I want to comment you I may prefer this to be worked via MSN, I am most of the time there, I know Skype has a lot of functionalities but the way it's organized feels too overcomplicated and I suspect it consumes more resources than MSN, something awful when you have to work with designing programs, besides, MSN is directly linked to my mail, which means you can easily send stuff over there and keep it stored online in sent items, I really dont want to manage two communication systems at the same time but... well, that's just me.

Yes I agree, let's use msn. I have skype but I prefer using msn and you make a good point we can send things to one another much more easily.

Seems somebody went on a deleting-spree on Shorty's posts (and other peoples' posts too because Shorty didn't make 2 pages worth of posts), though tbh I don't really remember them containing anything offensive.

I think it was Meth who removed his nonsense, and I agree with him, there is no real point in wasting forum space on that kind of things, besides, we already have Kermit, Reddy, Coolness and all the other fine mates knowing how to do refined classy of-topic.

Good think about chatting is that you can save all the text and then have it at hand for future reference, sure you can record our voices but having tens of mbs of MP3 and having to surf throught them would be a waste of time (also I am sure all of you would prefer to listen some music while chatting, I enjoy to have some music on the background when chatting with someone), NSG, do you still use your old MSN account?

Skype keeps records of chats as well........

my main point is that we are trying to make a project here, not just a fun social group, and from what I know of MSN, it's more casual then skype.

Skype also allows for file sending, although not directly into email......

Thing is, voice chat brings a different abd I would say important dynamic o team chatting.

Given all our experience with the forums and other internet communications, strict text can be limiting, and people arn't able to have a proper conversation in real time.

I just want to reduce miscommunication, while keeping it simple.

Voice chat just brings an important aspect to a project, that I don't think just text can do.

I guess maybe teh best thing to do is to 1st gather the team here, then take a vote on which to use.....

SGJist, remember english is not my native language, while I have a decent pronunciation (my "S" and "R" are soft enough) and I speak in english whenever my job at the office demands it (half of the team are foreigners but they know spanish well know so sometimes we speak in spanish), the fact I can write allows me (and I think anyone else) to better form the ideas and concepts and to think two times before pushing the send button, something vital if you want to avoid missunderstandings and frictions, also, MSN is quite simple, which is another strong point.

I like the fact you want to make this feel professional, but we cant go too "corporative", we are not getting paid for this (at least not me) and avoiding too much formality is crucial to avoid people to flee.
