    BattleField 3 Gameplay Discussion

OK so this is pc footage and from what I've seen this looks awesome!

Can't wait for the beta now!
About time they developed for pc as the main platform.

    Update: It is singleplayer footage.
Can't wait to see some multi-player footage

I know some people hate it, but it would be really nice if this game get killstreaks and perks, along with vehicles, destructible enviroment and weapon customization it will make the whole stuff amazing.

Clarification: I know this stuff already is in BF3, I mean, I would like to see killstreaks and perk plus thing which are already featured in the game.

????? No one would hate half the things you listed because they've either been in Bettlefield all along, or were already added in previous games. .

Vehicles: Every single Battlefield has them. The entire franchise is practically built around the balance between vehicles and soldiers, lol.
Weapon customization: Since at least 2142.
    Destructible environments: Since Bad Company.

The only thing without an analogue are kill streaks. One things Battlefield does have is the Commander mode, and that has always allowed the designated commander to call down artillery strikes, Sat scans, drop supplies, drop vehicles, etc.

Um...there are vehicles and BC2 had a kind of perk system. Also there was destruction and weapon customization. All to an extent and that is what made it so nice.

There should be no killstreaks in Battlefield games. That would totally ruin the game.

The perk idea in BC2 was nice but they should remove perks like "magnum ammo" and "explosive upgrade". Anything that affects the players damage or health output should not used. Extra nades, faster sprint, more ammo, better cloack, etc. Such perks are fine. Vehicle perks should be removed completely.

Weapon customization should remain on the main things. Scopes, launchers, silencers, etc. Also to an extent. For example the Assault doesn't get silencers, but the other classes don't get launchers. Changing the color of your weapon or crossair should not be used. That's something for CoD.

Some more realistic destruction would be nice and not the prefab holes in prefab houses from BC2. It looked nice at start but after a while you start to see that if you hit a buildings in certain area's they all make the exact same hole.

i never get used to the way weapons look in the BF series, shame that this one didn't change that, they look like mutant weapons or something

Campaign looks boring and linear as usual. Has potential in multiplayer department with what I see. However I'm bored of it already. Nice graphics though.
