More options to change the AI voice

    Subject:
Various options to have a different kind of voice of the AI, like having a male or female voice.

    Description:
Incase I explained my idea wrong (my English ain't that good), with ''AI voice'' I mean the voices that help you in the missions, like that from CABAL, LEGION and EVA. They'll yell at you whatever happens in the game, like ''Our base is under attack!'' ''Unit ready!'' ''Construction complete!'', but I don't think I'll need to explain that here.

As for my idea, I would like more options to what that voice should sound like. For example I'd like to have the option to change the male voice into a female, or have a different accent, that kind of idea's.

AI voices in general also cause some frustration to players. Usually when they heard the AI voice too much, they'll be like ''YES I KNOW THAT ALREADY!!!'' or just ''STFU!!!!!!'' for examples. In this case, you could add the option to lower down those voices, have a calmer accent or just to remove that voice entirely.

    Positive Effect:
May fight some frustration against players, or some people just prefer hearing male voices or female voices.

    Negative Effect:
Will probably cost more voice actors, and that would mean more time needed to make the new C&C.

    Media:
There was an earlier thread suggesting the game to have more options, mostly options to make it for yourself easier like the option to have either a right or left sidebar. So the option to change your AI voice could be one of them. It is described in this thread:

    http://www.commandandconquer.com/for...hp?4137-Option

So would you like more different kinds of AI voices or not?

    Whatever gets the job done.

I personally think the voices themselves are good enough.

It's purpose is to inform you about things and what your doing.

They should focus on getting just one voice per faction that works perfectly for its task, instead of several dozens that all bug you out in one area or another.

Needs to go with Golan2781 here, make it one voice per faction but one GOOD at that, if they make good lines, the actors make a good interpretation that pass the correct sentimenmt and if they put it in the correct places and moments the players will not became frustrated. Again if they could make it with more than one voice i wouldnt mind...

I think it would't hurt to atleast have a male and female voice for each faction. Can also give them a volume option, that only works for that voice

I like the idea of choosing the gender of the voice. Crysis default nanosuit voice was male, but I always changed it to female.

I quite preferred the male EVA from Red Alert 1 (it just struck me as far more military than the Female EVA/Comm Officer that keep showing up), so I honestly would like the ability to use a more serious voice, if not have that be the default.

If there was a option to change the voice of the EVA in a C&C game I would probably want to test this one out:
