Should C&C Tackle the Human Cloning Issue? As Well as Genetic Engineering People?

Given the time and futuristic setting of the next C&Cs (no matter what universe) But if it was to happen, most likely be Tiberium Universe.

Should a Faction be makeing clone armies and have a discussion about these types of technologies and ethics?

Also, forgot to put in poll, but what about Genetic engeneering of human characteristics?

Maybe Some scientist try to engineer people to be imune rom effects of tiberium?

I don't see why not. I think Nod should do it, and, just to poke fun, there should be a certain minor group that shows up at one point (maybe in a television show during a cinematic), saying that "stem cell research is murder", very much like many... well, Christian people believe. Then the station could be destroyed by Nod forces, but now I'm just thinking cruelly.

I think its better if we leave this to the Red Alert Universe.

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

    Where Did they?

What if GDI was trying to do it to replenish their troops.

Also Genetic engineering like in GATACA film, in effort to control genetic disorders?

I'm pretty sure that Yuri's army was all about cloning. Soviets too, when he was on their side.

I'm talking about the actual moral issue of human cloning research ethics..........

    Sigh.......

Why not just stick with the themes that the Tiberium universe was supposed to be about, rather than throw in a hamfisted moral quandary that would probably be handled with about as much tact as cloning already got in this series? Unless this was a new C&C universe that, from the onset, was about, let's say, the "dangers of technology," isn't it thematic overload to put a new tangential debate in the Tiberium series? There's a perfectly good globalization parable already in the roots of the GDI/Nod story. I'd like to see that fleshed out to more than a few offhand comments from characters who disappear after one game.

And if that debate actually was in a new series, it could work. But I don't think it's a good idea to design what should be a large, sweeping RTS story around a topic as specific as cloning. It'd have to be a more personal tale.

All the units of the same type do look and sound exactly alike though. Maybe it's like the Sheriff on Squidbillies.
