Renegade does not detect my keyboard. I have had this problem ever since getting the scripts. WTF!?!?!

What scripts - 4.0?
Did you checked controls? Keys could be unassigned.

Check the keybindings in the options menu. Something might have happened which ended up deleting all of your inputs.
Start the game, click on "Options" and then click "Controls."
