This mentality is absolutely stupid. In an FPS, any team should be able to defeat any other team at any stage of the game.

its stupid but sadly its how a lot of matchups in tw and kw have been balanced by EA

Yeah it is sad, because they listen to a bunch of fan boys have a cry that something is too good, then EA nerf the hell out of some units and uber buff the unit :/

I personally prefer TW for campaign but KW for GC and Skirmish.

The preds will vastly outnumber them. Also the APCs get a lot more dangerous once rocketmen are garrisoned and the occasional engineer which in the chaos of the attack will become extremely annoying.

But you are right about the rockets in the assault itself, I forgot during the writing but throwing in rocket squads makes the push a lot more effective. Especially since they can be garrisoned in the APCs if he has some serious anti-infantry.

ya know, apc+ grenadier works well early too if enemies garrison a lot, apc+ grenadierworks i pentagon mission so that means undeveloped bases are also prone to that sort of attack.

It devastates infantry + buildings but it's extremely weak vs vehicles, in the pentagon mission even a few raiders were a problem.

apc-grenadier is a huge joke... what are you talking about lol
grenadiers take years to kill rocketmen and have pathetic accuracy+splash so its pretty pointless using them vs proper inf spams

its worth popping a few grenadiers inside apcs if theres a few garrisons to clear, eg on small town usa

but otherwise, youre effectively just investing in more expensive and less versatile apcs ($700+$800 = $1500... lol)

if you want some splash damage in, get some shatterers/sonics... they happen to cost about the same, 1-shot any rocket inf along their wave path and are good vs vehicles too
