It would be real nice if a collectors edition could be announced soon. Just cause I'd rather wait and see if that would be worth to buy before pre-ordering this one.
Also, the sooner the better. I've got a birthday code that I want to use.

That's one of the reasons I wont be preordering for a while.
Considering this game is over a year out I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have the details of the special edition down yet.

They're definitely working on it since they created a survey about it a couple of months ago. I checked it and it's still active, better take the poll now and tell em what you want before they end their preparation for it.

Or you could wait to actually see the game in action before pre-ordering it. We don't want another C&C4 debacle.
