Thread: Really? DLCs?

  1. #1

    Really? DLCs?

They say that there will be ever-enhancing content, which sounds like DLCs.
Is this going to be a pay-to-play-properly game which costs 60$ ???

If it is I'm out... I will not be suckling off of the EA titty.

    We don't know yet.

All I'm hoping for in regards to DLC is that they are integrated into the core game, doesn't unbalance anything and that there will be a worldbuilder.
You should be happy you are alive. I am =)
    NEW KANE@S WRATH MAP< YO!

A worldbuilder is unlikely! It's the Frostbite engine which was used with BF3 which didn't get a SDK because the enginge is too omplicated.
I guess that's why they talk about all those DLCs in the first place. It seems like EA is going to be in charge for custom maps and mods lol, and they won't do work for free...

    Sure hope so as well.

'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

I would rather have DLC than NONE or single player only (RA3) because the devs didnt want to take the time to balance it for multiplayer..

Ever-evolving Experience – Enhance your game with an expanding array of downloadable content. From maps and units to factions, campaigns, and more, the fight against terrorism is deeper than ever.
There's nothing inherently wrong with DLC - just judge each item on its own and see if you think it's worth it.

People who cry for free extra content after they got a complete game really annoy me... just please leave this place and never come back.

I certainly hope its not the pay-to-win type of DLC. Sure it's possible that you can separate the players to fight only those who bought the units/factions, but something about that type of DLC doesn't appeal to me.

Hunters are OP, but the Cobras disagree
