I still to this day am addicted to Generals: Zero Hour. I can play for countless hours and never get bored. And most the time I am losing! Me and my friends have been playing this game since its release in 2003. It's hard to believe I was enjoying the game just as much at 12 years old as I am now at 20. Generals 2 doesnt need to change much for me to relive that same experience.
First and foremost, Bioware Victory... please do not forget this is Generals. This is not anywhere close to the Tiberium games, this is not Red Alert. Keep my command bar on the bottom. Let me build where ever I want to. Give me a similar hierarchy of units, abilities and upgrades. DO NOT, and I REPEAT DO NOT, put squads or unit limits. I know single player is a lot of Bioware's focus, but Generals was amazing because of its multiplayer. Countless hours spent just building my army, making everything so perfect and then just going at it with my foe. Multiplayer is what will make your game sell, single player is definitely great, but your focus should definitely be on the multiplayer. DO NOT go only halfway with this project. We deserve better than that. Give us options. We like options. Bioware Victory, this is going to be your first big blockbuster if you pull this off. Don't screw with us, THE FANS, THE CUSTOMERS. For us Generals fans, this is crucial.
We have waited, asked, begged, and pleaded to have a sequel to Generals. You have done your part in granting us that wish. Now we ask you to listen. Take notice in what we are asking for and be cautious about things we arent. We want you to succeed just as much as you want to, but that doesnt mean we are going to buy a game that doesnt meet our demand. It up to you to fill that empty spot we have. We have been waiting long enough, so please do not tease us with a product that is not as described. Generals is a Trademark and I want nothing more than a true sequel.
