Can't play LAN, it says: The game has detected a mismatch...

When i try to play LAN with my friend after about 3 - 4 min it says

The game has detected a mismatch...

Can't remember the rest.

Is there a way to fix this???

Go in game's option and search for "Version x.xx" and tell me what those x are
if u have 1.00 then u need to upgrade the game to the latest version wich is 1.04 (go to multiplayer>online and install that pach)
if u already have 1.04 perhaps some1 else can help u

I have the version 1.04 on both computers. And I've installed this patch http://cnp.cncnz.com/tfd/

I got this problem between my laptop and desktop with my brother...

...for lack of a better way I copied the entire installation folder from one computer onto my thumbstick and pasted it into the other computer, overwriting.

Brute force but then it matched.

There might be some mod files left over if you have had mods and they may be being loaded.

Hmm ok.

A far as I can tell, all you can do is a complete reinstall on both computers, making sure after the uninstall you delete all the saved profile settings in MyDocs.

Make sure to delete all your mods on both PC'S and reinstall the game on both PC'S asweel.

I've been playing CnC Generals for YEARS!! I've gotten this mismatch all the time and it won't ever go away. There is some CODE problems. I've done everything imaginable to fix this. You can do a Google search for this and you will find... MANY people have the same issue as well. Unless Victory decides to make another patch for Zhour it will always remain broken.
