    A Red Letter day

Yeah, I'm cutting it a little short considering there's only about an hour and a half left to the event, but it's better close than never.
The lack of communication between Valve and the Half-Life community has been a frustrating experience. While continued support for current and future products is greatly appreciated, fans of the Half-Life series have waited years for a word on when the franchise will return.

So, Instead of focusing efforts in a negative and disrespectful way, we have decided to gain Valve's attention by delivering a basic message:

Your oldest and longest running fanbase would like better communication.
To put it simply, join us in playing Half-Life 2 as a way of saying "Hey, Valve, we would like better communication!"

    My speculation?

Valve lost interest in the Half-Life series due to the Activision's dominating rise of the Call of Duty series that pwned the HL series for good. If Valve attempted to develop HL3 and released it, it's still no match to a COD game in any way. The rise of Call of Duty led to the fall of Half-Life.

No wonder why Valve decided to create some other types of games not related to Half-Life.

But it's not too late to re-communicate back with Valve and bring back some Half-Life hope to the community.

Why do you always spam the CoD conspiracy theories?

    srsly its getting boring

CoD does singleplayer worse than Half Life. Half Life combines plot and narrative with engaging puzzles and good lore. CoD is ridiculous plot and spectacular set pieces. Did Black Ops campaign make any sense to anyone? Personally ending Ep 2 with such a cliffhanger and then doing nothing for years was a slap in the face.

I would but I'm not a HL player so it wouldn't be sincere which would make it pretty pointless in my opinion.

I like this secluded island, keeps us separate from the Riff-Raff in Europe.
