My goodness...foot-long cards? o.O I don't even think I have that much clearance in my full-size ATX case....
who in their right mind would pay $700 for that 0__0
Might be fairly easy to many terms of things or even just some to where that price isnt so bad. Its still a decent sized card for just one card. Even though it still maintains dual video, its one purpose or catergory use maybe, idk. Havent taken alot of time alot of models i think might of been pulled given the Core 2 Duo and X2 release and on, there better releases now of course . Think AMD offers a phyx like setup with their cards' though too, Rather in Crossfire or/and Solo card. Im not sure specifically, granted on Crossfire a "promotional" feature of use.
Granted also, that onboard i believe, think, usually gets disabled with add-in/on card video cards. There might be a few exclusions to say on the idea. usually there isnt cuntest(think its still spelt the same i just say it differently at times, usually not argued or debated, maybe more debate then argue, idk) given performance gains on card from onboard, might vary. Soem measure would be within means to look maybe further then whats stated within some means of apparent. Probably about the same, but still.

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for my new AMD Bulldozer build- whenever the bulldozer chips get released.
If im going to have the VERY BEST in overclockability and streamlined performance without paying the price of 2 whole computers for the processor alone, I will spare NO EXPENSE to get a beast of a GPU to RUN ANY GAME in my liquid cooled case.
as for noise- not much for a pc makes more noise than a liquid cooling radiator, but thats why I have 90W 2.1 channel speakers for my pc(used to have 140W 5.1Ch, but its still rare to find a game that plays audio in full 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound), and those tend to do a good job of drowning out most background noise
plus if you read up on the review of it, it is to downclocked 6970 cores in one card. downclocked so that the card runs at 375W. the reason is to keep the card within PCI-e specifications. the card itself is capable of handling up to 450W power. thats a LOT of room for overclocking.
