How to earn more Comand Points?

I am a newbie who is an offline solo player.
I was stucked that cannot earn more CP to build more structures as well as to train more army.
My poits is limited at 50. Sometime it shown there is 57/50 But just cannot build or train more. Why?
Hope I can get the answer.

Because the units and buildings can be created for free. The Tiberium is only needed for higher technology levels and unit upgrades.

Only user created maps can have more than normal amount of command points.

ok. I found a way now.
1)In early beginning, deploy an offence MCV. Then use engineers or soldiers to collect 3 red tiberiums. This will helps to gain 10 upgrade points.
2)Go to upgrade tab and upgrade to tier 2 and tier 3. (this allow you to create ultimate weapon -Mastodon).
3)First do not activate other options, activate 'backup system' ability(last button). This mean your ultimate unit -Mastodon can be recovered by itself when it is hitted unitl collapse.
4)Create a many as Mastodons as possible -normally you can get 4 or 5.
5)Set 'Hold fire stance' for this troop and send them to enemy base to let enemy hit them until collapse. You will notice that the used up command points reduced whenever these units collapsed hence you have extra points to create more units, take note that after a short while these collapsed Mastodons will recover by itself.
6)Take this very short time of opportunity to create more units -engineers, soldiers and many others....
Sort of to 'cheat' the system... but it works.
