I just wonder how a RTS game would do on the Wii U. I mean you could use the tablet's touch screen to queue up what you want to build, give move commands and maybe some shortcut keys like attack, reverse, etc.

But don't expect Generals 2 to be on any of the consoles unless EA changes their mind.

Well even the PS3 can support this game, also keep in mind that the PS3 is full mouse and capable, and you will see that when Valves new Counterstrike comes out, because the PS3 version will have an option to use a mouse and keyboard or controller.

Would be totally moronic. You would have to look down and up all the time (on the U screen, and TV screen).

I don't say that RTS don't work on consoles, they just work a lot BETTER on PC.

I hope they won't change their mind.

Tiberian Dawn and RA Retaliation are the only C&C's I've played on consoles, PS1 to be exact. The controller was easy to use, though the games didn't have rotating or zooming camera and such. I don't mind Generals 2 being released on consoles, but it must happen some time after the PC version is released, since C&C developement for PC is more focused atm.

Problem is, consoles can't run this kind of game. Look at BF. They are capped on 32 players and smaller maps + low details on 320p, I think? The game is hard to run even on today's PC, that's the reason they are going to release it in 2013, even though the engine is done already and they worked on the game for a long time now. How is it supposed to run on consoles? No consoles.

They put pop caps on consoles = 16 infantry units per side, 2 jeeps/armored cars, 1 attack heli, 2 jets, 1 transport heli, 1 IFV, 1 AA vehicle and 4 MBT's And of course 2 players only per match. I wonder how console players would react to that.

But I personally haven't played BF3 on consoles so I don't know how it works on them, but indeed you gotta have really good PC to play it with decent graphics. I can play on medium or high settings, I think, with 4gb RAM and NVidia 460 GTX. Hopefully this PC runs G2 just as well.
