Tiberiam Sun and C&C 4 Units

I was so happy to see the Kodiak again

Nice to see the units in this game later on huh?

Not really, because C&C4 absolutely dropped the meaning and importance of the unit.

I guess, some of the new units were wierd but still Kodiak was a good thing it looked nice even though it did not have the importance that you would imagine. but it had firepower so it was good to have. One thing that was bad about it. If you got one and you are playing against a Rookie. then he will probely have a hard time killing the high tier units

Maybe, Kodiaks are quite vulnerable to scorpions if the NOD players knows how to use them.

True dat, Kodiaks are powerful against pretty much anything, but when some Scorpion Tanks get close, the Kodiaks are as good as dead.

They just share the same name. TS' Kodiak was a command ship, whereas TT's is a gunship/battleship.

I think the one unit that has stayed fairly consistant through every game is the Orca Fighter. It was in all the tiberium games and served the same purpose (fires roughly 5-7 rockets) only in TT it can shoot at air targets as well. Can you guys think of any other unit?

Well I guess you could argue the Mamoth tank, but it was only an "Easter Egg" in TS/FS. You couldn't build it but could find it in a random crate or in some single player missions.

I was reminded of the Cyborg Commando and the Hijacker. Looks like they made their "debut" appearances.

Comparing C&C4 to TS is is out of the question. GDI and Nod are allies, like in FW, but in FW, they had a common enemy. In TT, it's Kane contradicting his own religion. In TS, GDI had space, Nod had an underground tunnel system. In TT, Nod and GDI use GDI space ships. In TS, the units and environment are a future apocalyptic atmosphere. In TT, it's more cartoony then RA3. In TS, the tech was very advance. In TT, they're recovering from the REALLLY STUPID GDI budget cut and Nod tech loss from TW (money does grow on trees for the last 50 years, GDI. It would help if you harvest it and used it for money, so you can help clean up the world AND maintain the TS arsenal. Besides, that's were all of Nod's money came from). In TS, the mutants were organized are were a key part of both groups (as well as plans to be its own by Westwood), with units like the Hijacker and Ghost Stalker. In TT, they're just there doing nothing. In other words, stop comparing TS to Fail and Failure 4.
