A pacing reference to Battlefield: Bad Company, for instance a mention of a 222nd Army Battalion, B-Company.
Bad Company 1 was the first game to use Frostbite, after all. If DICE hadn't developed it for Bad Company 1, we wouldn't have Frostbite 2.0 to use for Generals.
EDIT: Or graffiti written on the side of a building, reading "Haggard was here" with a crude drawing of a sand castle (an Easter Egg based of a similar one in Battlefield 1943), or a portion of a map designed to look exactly like Karkand.

Old debris or damaged units seem to be the C&C way. Old damaged Generals base in one of the missions would be awesome. It was harder for C&C 3 to bring in 3D model debris from Tiberian Sun, but as Generals 1 also were in 3D this should now be easier, no?
Like a damaged USA base, Power Plant, Barracks and CC... if you send in an engineer in there you'll get 'intelligence' or something fun.
Or a cemetery with gravestones with the Commando names, Jarmen Kell etc.
A Møøse once bit my sister ...
No realli! She was Karving her initials on the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian møvies: "The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink".
If they use the same 'ol units, would be awesome to unlock a feature which replaced all the same units with Generals 1 models. :P
Like hum-vee, Paladin tank etc
Put a "DIE WAFFEN, LEGT AN" sign somewhere in a map.
How about a haunted easter egg, similiar like in Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge. In that game, in the second Allied misison you fight against Yuri's forces in Egypt. If your units garrison a pyramide, a mummy comes out and randomly attacks you, or Yuri if he gets te change. I trough that was a pretty funny easter egg.
You could make a graveyard somewhere in the map. And if you garrison the mausoleum, a few dead corpses and skeletons walk out the building and attack everything they see.
Or how about this one, altrough it might not be actually an easter egg: Let Joe Kucan play as one of the world leaders who gets blown up at the beginning.
Also, a memorial to loyal C&C fans would be great.
The best easter-egg was the Chrono-Vortex of RA1.
