    ME3 Endings...?

I haven't finished the game yet. I am having to spend time doing other things at the moment. I think the game is amazing so far. However, I have noticed some discussion saying that the ending(s) is/are absolutely terrible. Many people are hating BioWare for it. This sort of thing happens all the time with games, where a few people complain about something, then many more will jump on the bandwagon or will hate on something simply because it gained popularity.

I am curious to hear though, is the ending(s) really THAT bad?

(Please no spoilers, I haven't beaten it yet.)

The game was incredible up until the last 5 minutes. Then.... garbage.

It seriously made me regret putting in all the time I spent making choices and guiding my character throughout the series.

I have the feeling that Mass Effect 3 is shorter than the previous one, or is it just me?

I agree. The built-up was great and then.......seriously? That's exactly the ending I never wanted and hoped they wouldn't do. Can't say ME1 and to some degree ME2 didn't hint at it, but...I was disappointed.

Equal length for me on the saves.

I see all these people complaining about the ending of Mass Effect 3, and they're saying, "worse ending ever"; then I say, "Command & Conquer 4"

I only played each game once through. I wanted to experience them all once at a time and go through each decision one by one until the end. I didn't want to replay games and forge my decisions based on a bias of knowing what was going to happen afterwords.

My original plan was to finish ME3 with all my imports and see how it ended. Then I was going to go back to ME1 and start over to see how different everything would have been. But now that I know the endings of ME3 and how incredibly limited they are and how little they have to do with any of the decisions you made throughout the series, I no longer see a point in me replaying the series.

It isn't that we need a super happy 'everyone wins' ending... but can they at least provide an ending with closure, resolution, a feeling of accomplishment, and logical sense?

I didn't think it was possible to take such a great series and utterly demolish it in the last 5 minutes of the final game. That has to be some sort of world record or something...

You need to play the multiplayer to get the good ending.

Alternativly, do al the side quests and essentially 100% the game.

Good ending isn't much better though.

I find it not too bad, but not too good either, I REALLY hope Bioware doesn't do that for Generals 2.... D:

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

I actually think C&C4's ending is better...

I know about that. But it isn't any different.. it's just an extra 5 second extension to the final cutscene. The ending choices are still the same.
