thank you for posting that imagine Kyang, i was about to make the wrong decision after destroying the reaper at the quarian homeworld, even if the ending is not that good, i want to get the best ending i can, im having a blast with the game btw is kinda sad seeing so many fans up in arms about the ending, but i can see where they are coming from

dissapointing "epic endings" are always hard to endure *cough* C&C4 *cough*

The pic is a proposal of how the game should play out, not what actually happens.

Luckily I didn't buy and play this game yet, the user ratings of ME3 is a bit far worse than COD MW2. The ending of ME3 is definitely as bad and similar to C&C4.

For people who have yet to know this, I found an article about a player filing out a FTC complaint to Bioware on false advertising with a misdefined ending to the series: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2401775,00.asp

If I thought the Mass Effect series will end like this, I don't think so. Look at the Halo series, how come that series got rebooted with a Halo 4 and developed with a new studio? Halo isn't gone yet.

But now it time to watch out for Bioware making a C&C Generals 2 game, if an ending does not come out as bad as previous games like Dragon Age II and now Mass Effect 3.

The ending was fine. If you have no idea what you're talking about just leave it. There are enough people who think ME3 had one of the best and most interesting endings.
Additionally, even if the ending is bad... it's a few minutes after 50+ hours of super interesting storytelling.
Would EA be so calm if they didn't knew what BW has in store for us?
BTW sales have already surpassed ME1 and ME2.

Never follow user ratings from Meta-Critic. Mass Effect 3 is a very solid game all by itself. Don't let the sorry cry babies or whiners on meta-critic stop you from experiencing ME3.

Once again, Zocom7 you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. What a useless post you made.

About all this ending stuff, You knew if it would come down to this if you played ME1 & ME2. You should have had that gut feeling that ME3 would end the way it did cause if you didn't I'd ask you and everyone to play the games again...and keep playing the games again until you had that gut feeling like I did from the start.

I disagree because of a few reasons. The ending was in the air until the very end of development. The IM's voice acting was delayed just so the writers could finish. Only 2 of the writers for ME right now are from the original team, and one of them was only loosely involved in ME1. The original lead writer left in the middle of ME2's development and doesn't even work for Bioware anymore. The ultimate goal of the reapers has also shifted each game from preventing a dark energy overload to preventing an evolutionary singularity, now to preventing an extinction level conflict between organics and synthetics.

There may be a general outline of events that the team was following, but the ending was never clear throughout any of the games. I think that anyone's "gut" feeling being proven correct by how ME3 ended, is only a coincidence between how one might have felt the story should end, and the ultimate direction chosen by the writing team at the very end of ME's development based on how they interpreted the events of the previous two games.
