    offline gameplay

Please have Gen 2 be playable offline the other option is you must play online until you register your copy. I hate that you have to be online to play Cnc4. That is my biggest worry. Please remember that not everybody has high speed or more than one connection to the internet.

I want offline play. I am VERY angry when I have to be online to play a single player game, and if it's multiplayer only, I won't be buying it.

Besides, our internet connections can go down if the wind blows too hard.

    Through Weight I gain Girth.
Through Girth my Belt is Broken.
    Dessert shall free me.

Agreed, I am a single player type of person and prefer to be able to play the game whenever I want to and not have to worry about having a constant online connection. That was probably one of the reasons that I stopped playing both C&C 4 and Starcraft II due to their online connections.

I won't mind this though just have the internet verify that it is a legal copy during the first time you install it on any computer. Then you won't have to worry about it again.

I hope it does have offline play, but if (or since) it's using Origin, it may be online only like C&C4.

I think Origin game can be played with offline mode. FIFA 12 and NFS The Run can be played offline though. I don't know about Gen 2.

    No no no.

Only online play and that's all.
I don't want any possible option to play offline. I want everything to be tracked, my stats, achievements... everything!

id doesnt read as a joke but this has to be surly?

im happy to register my copy online but i dont want to have to connect to play single player!

    No persistant internet connection.

its one of the main reasons i didnt buy c&c4 (apart from the game play changes and art style)

Seriously, if you didn't like the gameplay changes and art style of C&C4, the Internet connection requirement had nothing to do with your not buying it.
