    ???

Sniper rifles are very loud guns even if the listener is positioned at their maximum effective range...

You are absolutely right. I confused it with the fact that sniper bullets are supersonic. Meaning that you'd be dead before the sound would reach you.

    Edit: Post 2012. Nice.

It does, but it seems they still have problems with tesselation, on some objects you can see them morphing into shape. The water they had was really nice.

I'll say right up front that I had to read the video description to understand just what each term really meant. And now that you point it out, yes, I did notice some rough edges. And I mean things that looked rough from the perspective of the average consumer who knows nothing about these technologies beyond how it looks compared to its competitors.

The most I understand is that other engines have supported dx11 for a while now, and that cryengine is a sneaky and cruel way to tell me that my computer will actually be crying.

Don't worry, my cried so much that the GPU died a natural death. Right now I am collecting money for a GF680 which means at least two more months without a working gaming PC.

Edit: Updated the opening post with announcement info.

Ugh. Crysis 3 plot seems extremely stupid and convoluted.

Disappointing really. Crysis 2 was ok. Crysis 3 seems to just copy the Simpsons movie.
