if the Nanosuit is so powerful, and if's so much of it's body is not only powerful, but fast- than why not give him a bunch of spears already?

Wait, before I read you all let me guess, you are going to whine about the bow right? I mean, you guys never whined about Gordon Freeman having a frakking crowbar, or Havoc having a handgun with infinite ammo, yet you are going to make a whole debate about a bow, tons of rage and derp, right?
Live well. It is the greatest revenge... And be the salt and light of Earth.

Felo already made a good point why a Bow would work in this case. The Crowbar is a manly tool, no argument over that :P

Hunters are OP, but the Cobras disagree

As for the bow discussion - I was sure this thread will go entirely in that direction

I found the idea to be bizzare, not unrealistic; In fact, judging by the increased speed and power of the Nanosuit, it's entirely logical to give him a weapon which can make good use of it's strengh.

Crossbows take some time to reload, and were, if I am correct, designed to make the big amount of skill and strengh, required for the use of bow, unnecessary. They are also, if I am not mistaken, more powerful.. As long as the bow user isn't a superhuman cyborg. The thing is, I think that a superhuman soldier can use the bow more effectively than a crossbow, with the only limits being his strengh and speed, which are far superior to normal human's and, I presume, to the speed and strengh of a crossbow.

Come to think of it - Imagine adding a bullet time effect and using it with a bow. The protagonist can reload, aim and shoot arrows faster than the enemy can fire machineguns. To limit this power, imagine the bow overheating from such use, with the string glowing red. I want dat game.

I think they're just using it because the Hunger Games movie made bows a little more popular again.

    That may also be true.

Still, I think it's an awesome idea for a weapon.

I like it too. It's cool.

They should include rocket fists next.

This would make more sense if Crysis 3 took place in the Jungle again.
But still, the advantages of a bow as a stealth weapon makes sense. This is more normal than a scientist in a big orange suit killing aliens with a crowbar.
