Well, you seriously need to this ask question? I can tell you....If the Crysis 3 rumors are true and it's set inside of a jungle again then a bow would be more useful for a silent take down.

.. it will not be set inside a jungle, even the promo art shows a city in the background.

On a side note, why would a bow be a better silent weapon in a jungle instead of a silenced gun? If so, is silenced gun a better weapon in a city?..

Because silencers' function is to protect your ear, not to actually silence your weapon.

I think it's pointless to compare the stealthiness. No matter the weapon, unless it instantly kills with one hit, the enemy is going to be alerted and know where to search the moment shooting starts.

That is a wee bit strange. Maybe its just me, but a lot of FPS games (and perhaps movies?) used suppressed guns/rifles when they're off to a sneaky/stealth mission. That means no loud noises when they attack? Then again Snipers shoot at a long distance, I can't say the same thing at guns at close combats though.

Spears are way too long to lug around compared to Arrows imo. Then there's the quantity, even if you have a fancy suit to handle the weight, you might compromise other things like your visibility and agility. Yeah the suit will will again 'take care of it,' but you still have that unnecessary negative penalty that you'd still be lugging around.

Hey since we're still in the subject of Arrows, what are the odds that he'll get Trick Arrows like Green Arrow have?

Snipers are the only viable noiseless weapons. If you shoot at a sufficient range then you're good. But there once was a group, I don't remember its name, it was advocating for more realism in movies and this was one of their top concerns. Bunch of crazy people if you ask me but their science was solid. Guns make a lot of noise and no silencer can fix that. Yet.
