Why no C&C gold?

What the heck? I tought EA released all three C&C games for free and now they are trying to sell them on the website WTF!?

Okay i know they are rebooting the series and they want some money from gamers, but i just hate the bs they are doing here. But they released the Command & Conquer, Red Alert and Tiberian Sun as freeware games and now they are trying to sell them and that's not a good thing to do.

They are not "Trying to sell them" again - The First Decade was released before those three were released for free.

Do they have any plan on putting in on the website all the 'kewl stuff' of the games like the modkits, patches n' stuff? Cuz I haven't seen them when I lurked around. All is there is just info about the game.
