Generals 2 is very much alive and kicking.

that would have been my guess

perhaps the fanboys are trying to start a "cancel" rumor to get the community people excited so they release some proof to the contrary?

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see some content released too but holy cow peeps

I think a lot of it has to do with us being bombarded with info on prior games.

I don't think Generals 2 will appear at E3. If they were, I'm pretty sure someone would have found a leak by now (or EA has sealed the E3 Generals 2 stuff real tight.)

with that you have to ask, how many games have leaked info on average?
and how much of that is actually deliberate to leak it by the company?

after all, who wants to risk their job just to give abit of info?

    Got a point there.

I do expect some Gens2 info at E3, no better time to do so at this point in development.

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

I agree. Even in the last CBCPT, EA Cire mentioned in his interview that he was preparing for an event in the near future.
