PS Vita - Nearly PS3 graphics on a handheld.

I just made this thread to show how good Vitas processing power is.
Just check out these games, and be amazed by what a handheld can do.

The device is Quad Core supposedly around 1.0Ghz underclocked, with 512 mb ram and 128 mb vram. Compared to the PS3 which is 256mb of Ram and 256 vRam. Considering Vita runs on 540p compared to 720p or 1080p, the 128mb video ram is more than enough fueled with its main ram if necessary.
But those are mostly responsible for model and textures only, shaders and lightings are all processed by its Quad Core processing power, which could be clocked higher if it weren't for battery life.

Yeah your late for the party... :P

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

Well, I made the thread to show off the new gameplay of Resistance which is going to be released in a month. I was personally just surprised how awesome resistance looks, so had to make a thread about it.

Could care less about this piece of garbage it is just another overpriced appliance made by Sony who does not make good quality games. I would rather play good quality games on the Nintendo 3DS which has memorable games.

That's kind of funny. I think the Vita is the best handheld I've seen so far. The technology packed into that thing offers up so many new gameplay possibilities compared to the relatively traditional 3DS which tried to cash in on a little gimmick that doesn't work unless the planets align, and is usually left off anyway. I think there are probably only 2 or 3 games for it that I'm interested in.

    ...Does Sony actually "make" games?

Feh, I haven't come across any decent handheld games ever since the GBA era. It seems to me everything that ever came afterwards was just some dug-up and polished version of another game with other colors and another cover slapped on it.

I long for the classics, the original Pokemon, the various Super Mario games, Tetris, the RPG classics like TLoZ GB/GBA titles, the Golden Sun series. People don't make those games any longer or at the very least they are soo rare they get completely swamped up under the pile of generic adaptions and remakes you no longer hear of those games unless you already know of them and specifically search for news on those.

Yea I know a lot of people for some reason think that the console makers make the games. If the game is bad they blame whoever made that console, that's just silly.

Overpriced? Quad Core Processing, 512 mb, OLED Screen (Most expensive component), physical controls, touchpad all that actually add up to around 160 bucks. Then theres manufacturing, assembling them all togethor, then theres the amount of research they put, amount of coders that worked to make the OS, to make the SDK, and ofcourse future supports. All that for 250. I wouldn't say that is overpriced compared to iPad or iPod Touch which are way too expensive. Their specs don't compare to the Vitas, well the new iPad does have a GPU that is nearly powerful as the vitas however that gpu is responsible of producing FULL HD resolution for just a tablet.

Tell me that Vita has a reliable browser unlike the whiny, half-baked version that PSP has.

Gee, I wish all Apple iPads and iPhones have these recent hardware requirements by now.

Another piece of garbage is your comment, considering that the PSP Vita is everything but what you said it is.
The price is fair for what you get. This cannot be argued.

My advice? Give it a go if you haven't already, it's very good value for the money.
