Are you tired of the 7th Generation of Video Games?

Simple question, are you tired of this current generation of video gaming which contains the Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, DS, and PSP?

For starters I think that it has gone on long enough and I am getting tired of people fighting over which of the current systems is the best. This generation started back in 2005/2006 with the 360. I think that this generation is just over saturated with games that are pretty much just copies of other titles, especially the FPS market. I think that both Sony and Microsoft have failed to give any of us gamers good quality games that are memorable and original. While Nintendo just keeps making great quality ones that have great stories, are memorable, and have replayability.

And I think that both the other companies should just stop copying Nintendo and think of something original for once. Anyone else want to bet that the PS4 or Xbox 720 will have a tablet controller like the Wii U?

For one I am glad that this generation is almost over and the 8th Generation is upon us probably around this fall once the Wii U is released.

im happy with the quality of the graphics this current generation has. but im all for improvement aswel.

as for the "which is best" argument i never got why people get so angry and defensive and insulting about them all. seriously.. just pick one and have fun. (tho tbh iv never been a fan of nintendo, the games just dont appeal to me)

as for nintendo bringing out original games i have to look at the plethora of mario and zelda games and im not so sure. im all for 'more of the same' with tweaks if you enjoy a series, im just not into their games. each to their own.

That goes without saying, but it IS somewhat telling when most people nowadays only know of Nintendo hard via tvtropes.org ... a shame really.

Not really, I think most people get tired of videogames bcs they dont have some other hobbies to alternate with, if you use most of the hours of the day the whole week to play videogames then obviously you are gonna grow tired.

That's why I also do some other stuff, with a chronogram full you come to appretiate those few hours you have for every videogame.
Live well. It is the greatest revenge... And be the salt and light of Earth.
