C&C Generals Zero Hour Online Not Working?! PLEASE HELP!

I have tried to play online on zero hour so I go to custom match and see all the matchs but are all greyed out I click to join but it says its a different verison, ive tried talking to people in the waiting lobbys but they say I need 1.04 but im running that verison of the game (ive checked the options menu) I have no idea what the problem is can someone please help me I will be forever thankful. P.S (whoever helps me fix this I'll play a game with you or something).

Try a few things: Uninstall any mods completely, uninstall and re-install Generals and Zero Hour, restart your computer. If that doesn't work, I suggest you google it or go to EA Help ( https://help.ea.com/search?q=Why+are...mes+greyed+out ).
If the problem persists, email them at support@ea.com

dont know if you solved the issue yet but after some searching here in forums i found solution right click on desktop icon and run as administrator then it will work i just tested it and it does work

Every time I go to run Zero Hour or Generals, it says "must update DirectX to version 8.1 or higher (I have version 11) and says I have to update my video card... I run battlefeild 3 fine + was just playing tiberium wars...

Generals/ZH is the best game and only reason I bought this player pack =D Any1 have a clue how to fix it? I need my modern strat fix
