Question C&C 3 TW Language Pack

    Hi,
So quite a while back I bought C&C3 while in China and when I got back to NZ it turns out it was in Chinese (kind of expected). Anyway so after installing I tried to change the language by changing locale but nothing happened. I uninstalled then reinstalled and went to advanced install to try and select English as the install language but it turns out there was only Chinese. This is kind of a big problem for me as I cannot read Chinese. So I was wondering ifanyone knows where I can get an English language pack or change the language in some other way. I heard that EA stopped distributing the language packs or something but I don't really know. Lastly, the game is real. It is not some, fake pirate copy or something.
    Thanks in advance,
    Unnamednoob

similar problem here. When i downloaded the game from origin, I specifically chose English as the download language, but after set-up, the game is in spanish, and worse its in Spain-type spanish, which I find irritating. Does anyone know were a patch or language pack for english is available?

Is your operating system in spanish?

yes, unfortunately. I live in Nicaragua (Latin America) so most shops that sell PCs do so with the OS preinstalled in Spanish. Does this mean I cant switch to English on the game or that if I do so it will generate conflict with the OS? Hope not!! That would trully suck if it did!

It does not conflict with your OS, don't worry about that... Uhm... Open the game's control center - click the arrow to the right - and select set language. Does it allow you to change? If not then the only problem is finding the English language files online.

Edit: I couldn't find English language packs anywhere (although that doesn't mean they're not there, I didn't look very hard) and unless you can find them I'd suggest contacting EA customer support.

Edit2: Reinstalling with US settings, as suggested by Lauren, sounds like an excellent idea to me.

There would be the "simple" solution to delete TW, closing Origin, and then setting your Region settings to US. Origin uses that setting to determining the language it should download. I don't know which settings you have to change exactly, when I had a German Windows I just set everything to US.

Thanks for all the replies so far guys! Unfortunately none of them seem to work so far :L I'll try contacting EA support again next week and see if they can supply me a language pack. My Reigon setting is English NZ at the moment but I really don't think switching it to en_US will help especially since I'm not installing it via Origin. Nevertheless I will still try it and let you guys know how it goes. Thanks so far.
