Uninstall the game. Only way to save your system from FnF4Ever.

Anything else that would tangate the game itself would require a massive overhaul which is more akin to a complete redesign rather than improvements. Imho, FnF4Ever can't be saved and shouldn't be. Throw it into the abyss and make something else instead, a real CnC, not this Arena sceleton with that asspull excuse of a story slapped to it.

You can't save a game that's been released and abandoned.

Start completely over. New story, new units (new name. Tiberian Twilight was always a dumb name) new game mechanics.

Pick up where C&C 3 left off. Nod is ravaged, GDI is rebuilding. Then the Scrin come in full force. The Others show up and give GDI the tech to blow the Threshold tower. This is when Nod reveals that they're not nearly so ravaged as they led GDI to believe and launch a campaign to stop GDI from blowing the tower.
I agree except for the name part. The name was actually quite good.

Yeah. I heard it was the name of Westwood's CnC3.

THERE'S A 99% CHANCE THAT NO ONE HAS READ THIS.

Try watching the three replays here. They're a bit old but it should work or at least give you an idea on how to face them.
What would be the best GDI support-class combination of units to face them?

...because sometimes, when opponents chose to make reckoners, game becomes boring really. It feels like 'cat and mouse game'. Reckoners camp near the node. Killing them takes too long and employ too much, risking loosing control of the rest of the map.

In the end, I avoid them all together. I focus on everything else. Once they move to another node I return to where they were before. Cycle repeats again and again until end of the game.

I wish there is some hard counter against them.
