    Nope, I don't.

In fact, most of us have our own opinions that are not like yours.

Generally, I would agree. Besides commandos, most high cost units are slow, heavily armored and have massive firepower.

As I said Nod in TS was all about fortifying and not about mobility at all I would say no. It was about fortifying one position and then launch a sneak attack from another vector as the enemy units are busy, at least that is what its design suggests. Draw them out with fortified artillery and then swoop in.
In TS every later unit but the Mammoth MK2 was more about mobility, hence hover units that have low hp but are pretty quick, Disruptors had paper armor. Also Nod always had stronger defenses compared to GDI.
Also remember the direct counter to a Mammoth MK2 are Banshees. 3 of them outright kill one without losses like in the movie.

Heh, last time I played TS, which is about a week ago... It took more than just 3 banshees.

    lol

I'll take that as a testament to my creative thinking skills...

    meh,
Although I understand where Lauren is cumming from, and yes i n the past Nod had better defenses than GDI, It feels Nod no longer has that edge, and from my understanding of Nod's theme, that is appropriate.

GDI has always been about protecting the people, they would need top notch defense for that, Nod seems more about using people to their ends, so they aren't defending as much, but usually on the offense. (yes, Generalizations, but we shouldn't get hung up one specific units)

Sure they had deploy-able 1st, but the over arching themes seems more mobility then straight defensibility.

But in an reality, go ahead and be with your beliefs, I can always say otherwise.

For me, I will always go for Nod having some exceptions in their typical combat doctrine, as war cannot be won with one just one type of tactic.

    Dude.....

Do you grasp the concept of how a discussion works?

    Understanding is not agreeing.

Lauren is talking about the past, I am talking abut the future, and your response is to say we have differing views and say nothing can be done..

Indeed I know, But that doesn't mean I have to be forced to talk to your points.
I understand, but I don't wish to understand your ways as I care less about them.
Im not really in the mood to be dragged into another of your dramatic episodes.

I still stand on my point on what I think is alright for Nod having some bigger guns, you better tolerate that..

    Er...well...

I don't think anyone should have epic units.

I just don't like the idea.
