I agree, all C&Cs were pretty similar. That is, up to C&C4, which was drasticly different from RA3 which came before. And even if what you say is true, that all C&Cs are similar, that's not concrete proof that Generals 2 will follow the trend of C&C4. Again, I'm just going with what's been revealed. Generals 2 could hold many more surprises, but all the info on the Generals 2 page makes it sound a lot closer to what previous C&Cs have been, and less like C&C4.

I really don't care about Red Alert. All I noticed from Tiberian Dawn to Tiberian Sun to Generals to Tiberium Wars to Tiberian Twilight, the size of the bases have been getting smaller and smaller.

Accept reality. C&C 4 took a bigger jump on that same trend. What Generals 2 will do is make the base building smaller but not as small as C&C 4 because lots of people couldn't handle that transition. In time though we will eventually get back to C&C 4 perhaps in Generals 3.

Fix'd. Accept reality. You don't KNOW this. That's the key issue here. Stop talking as if this is fact, and realize this is all guess work. It MIGHT happen, I'll give you that. But it could go either way. And, though I hate to go back there, based on the evidence others have presented which you have ignored, it most likely will not go in the direction you want it to.

Also, next time clue me as to what series we're talking about. When you said "C&C has never steered too far away from the previous C&C" I, logically, assumed you were talking about every C&C game. If you don't like RA, that's your problem. You can't ignore it, it happened. So did C&C4, and so will Generals 2. C&C4 was a drastic departure from RA3, and Generals 2 will likely be a drastic departure from C&C4.

We do know the trend from game to game has been less base building. We should expect this as this has been the trend. The burden of the proof is on you to show otherwise.
