    Indeed its best if they announce ahead of release, would at least calm the masses a lil bit.

    AFAIK there are no current plans to take Frostbite tech outside of any EA subsidary, and judging from reading about it's growing pains in Bad Company 2 and BF3, it seems like it's just not set up go be sold out like Unreal or ever CryEngine 3 (where it was a conscience decision to build the framework of the tools specifically to go to anyone with enough cash to buy a license). That said, EA is really taking the Frostbite framework to task internally though, but it's unknown how together or fragmented it will be, especially as an 'engine' isn't a single entity.

    That said, I agree with your proposition that the more some sort of Frostbite technology is used, the more likely we are to get some sort of toolset for one of the games.

    If the game is not WorldBuilder I did not buy, and download. Mods probably just will not.

    they should just provide the tools or some thing and let US decide if its soem thing that we can do or not.

    they might be a bit surprised at how well we can learn things dispite what they think.

    what might be a good place to actually get an OFFICIAL reply to this question?

    im a very stuborn person when it comes to things that i want to do.

    i had once made a mod for TW (called it HellFire) but i never really published it or any thing, ive messed with Generals, Startrek Armada 2, Heroes of might and magic 5 and one or two others.

    90% of it all was just for my personal amusement, to see if it could be done, like adding a 5th zone trooper to the squad kind of like the .... damn now i forgot his name, the funny looking guy to the Nod rifle and rocket squads, alsotried to add him to the rifle, grenade and rocket squads too but that was WAY too OP

    point is, if some one like me, that also has a learning dissability (and dsylexia) can do this much, whats every one elses excuse ... that and I actually went to school (after making the mods) to learn how to make games, this is my passion and if some one can make/find the tools, i will make a messed up mod.

    but does any one know where might be a good place to ask some one OFFICIALY, if there will be moding tools for G2
