    Post Hotkeys/Esport Possibility

Command and conquer generals was and still is my favorite game of all time, but the one thing it lacked was hotkeys, Hotkeys make the game much more quick and Micro focused if you have to waste so much time going back to your base to click on your war factory and click on the Tank icon you tend to not focus on the epic battles going on. i dont mean selection hotkeys i mean like p to build paladin tank although selection hotkeys makes it much easier to control your army. As far as i know this game never really took off when it came to being an esport, it never had a big community and it didnt have tournyments. I understand that this game will most likely be a casual game but i would like it to also have a more pro-friendly side to it.

Also i want this game to be something that reminds me of all those epic moments i had playing this game when i was growing up. Dont go overboard with the high-tech futuristic stuff, The crusader tank was a abrams main battle tank , it was based off somehing real. I dont want this game to turn into another red alert 3. Oh and for god sake no unit cap

Generals did have hotkeys. You could customize them by editing generals.str, every command issued by a UI button (i.e. everything) could be given a hotkey.

And I think it also works if you assign a wf/rax to a number key then hit the hotkey of the unit you intend to build? I never put that into practice though >.<

Hunters are OP, but the Cobras disagree

hotkeys are there, Generals, CnC3, RA3 had em.

They are just sorted differently on each game.

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '
