    APC (retarded 2.8)

Hi, I am playing the mod retarded v 2.8.
Everything works great, except APCs. They can hold 2 squads of infantry instead of one, but whenever I put the second squad inside, the first one gets stuck inside. It becomes impossible to get him out. I use commands of APC, or left click the squad icon to get him out, but still no luck. What causes this? Any ideas?
Is there any way for me to work this around?
    Thanks in advance, please reply

It's a bug in TW, you can't work around it.

But in unmodded TW I have never seen any problem like that, I can put any squad into APC and get them out without problems.
In addition, I think the mod retarded 2.8 was tested a lot, how come this problem was unseen? Thanks in advance though
I've searched the entire Internet and I don't think all retarded 2.8 users experience this problem.

You can only put one squad into the APC, that seems to make a difference for the engine.

A mobile container can only reliably evacuate the last squad that entered it. As the regular APC can contain only one squad, it is always the last to have entered and can thus always be evacuated. This is obviously not the case for additional squads loaded into a modded APC such as the one from retarded. In a multi-squad mobile container, only the squads that finished entering while the last squad to enter was still entering can leave.
Say you have three 3 man squads, A, B and C. The soldiers enter in the order of:
    A1
    A2
    B1
    A3
    B2
    C1
    C2
    B3
    C3
Then both C and B can leave, C because it was the last to enter and B because it was still loading after C had begun loading. A is stuck however.
In general, you need good timing and large squads to do this deliberately.

This restrictions applies only to mobile containers. An immobile container can handle multiple squads without any problem; in fact, AFAIK the KindOf keyword IMMOBILE is the only thing that decides whether a unit can handle multiple squads or not.

Thanks, I have developed a good tactic to do this without problem:
I order 2 squads to enter an APC and leave the pointer on the APC squad icon (which is blank because there is nothing on APC) and start clicking. Whenever the first squad enters, it immediately leaves, then I do the same with another squad.
After this, you can put your 2 squads inside at the same time, it will work once, if you want to do it again do the things mentioned above again
So point is, always put your squads one by one in one APC and get them out. Then enjoy
    Thanks again
