It will be like C&C 4 in terms of limited base building which is the key factor. Most players don't want big sprawling bases that make the game too long, take up too much space and slow the game down. C&C players want action not turtling. Let them go play civilization. Their opinion doesn't count. Otherwise you are just creating a whole new game and it is no longer RTS/RTT.

Problem is very little people "know" how good C&C4 is, and no one played it enough to know it, so they would not play gen2 also no matter how good it ought to be if it was anything like cnc4, we can all tell you had a blast pwning cnc4 and want next game be like it, but it won't be the gen2, you are simply going to get disappointed (that is if you're not trolling, and I am beginning to think you are, as it is hard to believe someone would be so delusional like you seem to be).

Yeah sure "most players". Generals sales > CNC4 sales therefore most people like base building, if you have better sources link please otherwise stop stating your subjective perception as facts.

Lots of people are going to play Generals 2. It is the most anticipated game in the next year. They will play it with the anticipation there is base building, but when playing it they will find out that the base building is fairly limited, and this will cause them to appreciate the game C&C 4 was without having to play 100 5v5 multiplayer games. Why would I be disappointed by limited base building? I would still enjoy it if there was lots of base building because the C&C series always produces a top notch product. I've never been disappointed with the C&C and Generals series. I think you are going to be in for a surprise about how limited the base building will be. But that's ok, you will love it. You will carry this delusion though with yourself till the game comes out and you actually play it. Then you will remember I told you so.

I recall C&C 4 was in the top 10 selling list for many months. Very objective. Great sales despite your perception otherwise. Most people don't like sprawling base building, so Generals 2 will be like C&C 4.

It will be funny because people will say they love it not realizing how similar it is to C&C 4 with the limited base building.

Well that depends what you call "limited base building" for some base building in generals 1 looks limited.
I can tell you it will have all the elements Generals 1 has.
    a) resource gathering
    b) infantry barracks
    c) war factory
    d) some kind of tech buildings
    e) workers/dozers
    f) tech tree

but don't mind my delusions, you are right anyway because C&C4 is the new standard everyone will follow from now on.

Generals 1 had lots of base building, finding it hard to place buildings. I am confident from what I have heard Generals 2 will not have that problem since it was such a big success in C&C 4 not cluttering up the map, not slowing the game down, and not making the game inordinately long because of base building. C&C 4 is the new standard so it will be hard to break away from it too far.

It all will be as you say, you have convinced everyone here.

On another note, just saw this in other thread
Please consider visiting psychiatrist because this looks much more serious then simple trolling.

complexxL9, what other thread would you be talking about?

You're just a troll posting arbitrary links off topic and out of context. Plus it is immoral to be passing out the IP address of someone all over the place because you are lashing out. This shows you are morally unstable and have mental issues. I suspect you don't have a conscience to realize this is wrong. That's why you did it in the first place, making pictures of peoples' IP addresses you suspect who expose your faulty thinking, and then pretending you just got it from another thread. But you did it!

Fortunately when the game comes out you will have to accept it and no longer hold onto your delusion. No more big spawling bases as before.

Also I don't think you need a psychiatrist, but the problem is your spirit is dead to God, eternally separating yourself from His love, which needs to be regenerated through faith in the way, the truth and the life.

    Your choice.
